Okay, so. I have about 5 days until the deadline (May 15) to submit my demo for the Steam Summer Games Festival.
Basically, I realized that if the player throws an essential item (a battery needed to complete the level) into the water, the only way to get it back is going back to the main menu and restarting the level.
So I gotta write a quick script to make the item reset position when it falls into the water--not a huge deal... but when Unity crashes on you on startup, things seem a little scarier...
Luckily it was a one time thing and everything was good. Now all I gotta do is push the build through Steampipe and then I'll be set!
Once the demo is released, until the Steam Festival, I'll be working on a new project for a different festival also using Steam and I'm super excited to show everyone.
Thanks for reading!
