It has recently come to my attention that Graymount doesn't work on Valve Index.
Plain and simple. Because I don't have the Index hardware, there is no way for me to try and fix this problem. Additionally, I am using a version of SteamVR 1.x in Unity, with no way to upgrade to 2.x without breaking the entire project, so even then I couldn't generate the proper actions to work with Index's input. I specifically omitted Index support from the Steam page, but of course this doesn't prevent Index users from purchasing/downloading the game. It runs well on Oculus, seeing as that's what it was developed on, so for the time being we will be doing two things: 1) Due to these problems, as well as a few others with our version of Unity, and overall project direction, MidnightCoffee, Inc. has made the decision to distance itself (at least 6 feet!) from Graymount for a little while so work can begin on a newer project, built for the ground up for all SteamVR headsets in mind, using 2.x and the new Action input system. 2) When (when! ) we decide to return to the world of Graymount, we will focus on the Oculus platform, for publication on that store, and possibly publish to Steam later, if it's possible. We hope you all understand this decision, and thank you for your support along the way. I'm confident that our new project will blow Graymount out of the water in every way, while innovating on what VR can do, as a whole. Thank you, Judah
