Holocaust Education VR Experience

This VR application was a prototype for a Parsons School of Design assignment where I had to propose a memorial for something. I designed this VR experience to take the user through the story of David Wisnia, a survivor from the Auschwitz Nazi death camp. Using Realtime Virtual Production to Create a 30 Second Short Film:
This video was created for the "Windscribe WTF Film Fest" where my prompt was the phrase "Available Pig Destroyer." Seeing as I couldn't film what I had in mind in real life, I decided to use game engine tech (the same as what was used in the new Lion King, for example) to create the short. I used Unity's Scriptable Render Pipeline to get semi-realistic graphics, lighting, and post processing effects, as well as their built in "Cinemachine" timeline to sequence and animate the characters and camera movements. Then I rendered it out using the "Recorder" tool. |
