Seek Not a Lighthouse Walkthrough:

This will contain major puzzle spoilers and minor story spoilers!
Seek Not a Lighthouse autosaves, but it’s always good to save manually by going to the Main Menu, then going back into the game!


  • Pick up Shovel
  • Get Paycheck from mailbox
  • Inside the shack, buy Milk from the clerk
  • Put the Shovel in the Blender
  • Put the Milk in the Blender
  • Put the Gumballs in the Blender
  • Turn on the blender
  • Bring the Shake to your daughter outside
  • Oh No!
  • Pick up the Mug from the stand
  • Grab the Wood Board from above the cracked window
  • Go into the Alley
  • Pick up the Avocado from the Dumpster
  • Go to the stairs and bring the Hairbrush to Dawn
  • Take the Gold Dye
  • Take the Mirrored Window from the wall
  • Take the Manhole Cover from inside the bathroom on the ground floor
  • Go Inside the Cafe and fill the Mug with water from the sink
  • Don’t forget to turn on and off the faucet!
  • Pick up the Ice Cream Scoop
  • Use the Gold Dye on the Mug of Water
  • Give the full Mug to Hix at the counter
  • Take the Clock
  • Take the Wire on the floor
  • Use the Wood Board on the Stationary Bread Cutter
  • In the first building, give the Clock to the little kid
  • Talk to Hix who’s standing outside
  • Follow Hix and use the Ice Cream Scoop on the Pile of Sand
  • Go back to the Alley
  • Go past the building and to the Festival
  • Pull the lever in the second booth to distract the man
  • While he’s away, take money from the cash register and the mask from the sign, on the first booth
  • Go Into the Circus Tent (This will trigger a cutscene)
  • Give the Manhole Cover to Mr. Spaghetti
  • Take the Dead Snake from on top of the boxes
  • Go back to the Docks
  • Put on the mask, and pay Hix with the money for a Boat Ticket
  • Go to the next Island
  • Take the Stuffed Owl
  • Use the Ice Cream Scoop on the Owl
  • Give the Wood Stump to Herbert in the shack
  • Take the Cheese
  • Go back to the Bathroom in the Alley
  • Use the Hollow Owl on the Toilet
  • Use the Snake on the Hole/Snapped Rope
  • Climb down into the hole  (This will trigger a flashback)
  • Give the milkshake to Tim
  • Go to the back of the Cafe through the door
  • Take a piece of string from the Mop
  • Use that String on the Light
  • Pull the String to turn on the Light
  • Take the Electrical Tape
  • Take a Knife from the group of Utensils
  • Use the Tape on the frayed Phone Wire
  • Use the Phone (This will go back to the present)
  • Use the Cheese on the Mousehole
  • In the next room, use the Owl on the first fire
  • Open the Grate
  • Take the Metal Rod
  • Close the Grate
  • Use the Rod in the Fire
  • Go Into the next room (This will trigger a flashback)
  • Use the Tape on the Knife to make a Makeshift Screwdriver for the Cop
  • (If you don’t have the Tape in the Inventory, go back to the closet and take more)
  • (If the Tape still doesn’t show up, exit to the Main Menu, then go back into the game.  That should fix it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ )
  • Give the Screwdriver to the Cop (This will go back to the present)
  • Take the Metal Grate from the floor
  • There is a locked drawer that requires a combination
  • Go back to the other island
  • Use the Crowbar on the door to the Lighthouse
  • A poster on the wall shows the combination
  • Take the Camera on the second floor
  • Optional: Take a picture of the poster
  • Exit the Lighthouse
  • Use the Payphone with the money and type in 2460
  • Go back to the room under the alley and put in the combination: 3, 12, 5, ?
  • Take the Key from the drawer
  • Go back to the other island and into the lighthouse
  • Unlock the door on the top floor with the Key
  • Go across the bridge
  • Use the metal grate on the gap in the bridge (This will trigger a cutscene and a flashback)
  • Talk to the reporter
  • Put the Rose on the graves
  • Go down to the bottom floor by removing the Out of Order sign
  • Pick up the Licorice
  • Use the Scoop on the Avocado
  • Use the Licorice on the Peel
  • Go back to Herbert and Give him this Eye Patch
  • Take the Fishing Rod
  • Herbert will leave, so take his Mouse (This will trigger a flashback)
  • Pick up all the pieces of the Machine
  • Turn on the Machine
  • Go back to the other lighthouse across the bridge and exit on the ground floor
  • Use the Worm on the Fishing Rod
  • Use the Baited Rod on the Dock Handle to pull it out of the water
  • Walk to the end of the dock and use the Baited Rod on the Fish
  • Once on the other side of the water, pick up the Dead Fish
  • Hix will come and make you go inside
  • Go back to the Festival
  • Go to the end of the festival to the Fish and Chips booth
  • Combine the Dead Fish with the Avocado Goo
  • Give this to the Chef
  • Take the Knife
  • Go back to the lighthouse with the mask on
  • Use the Knife on the Body
  • Use the Live Mouse on the Open Body
  • Use the Camera on the Crime Scene and give the photo to Mr. Spaghetti
  • Take the Sticker (This will trigger a little flashback)
  • Use the Helmet
  • Use the Sticker on the Window Glass
  • Go inside the Lighthouse
  • On the top floor, use the Stickered Glass on the Window (this will trigger a flashback)
  • Close the Coffin with a click
  • Push the Coffin with a click
  • Push the Coffin into the water with a Click
  • Go back to the other island and walk all the way down to the Scenic Point sign
  • Use the Out of Order Sign on the Scenic Point Sign
  • Cut the rope with the Knife
  • Climb down the rope (This will trigger a flashback)
  • Talk to Dawn
  • Go down into the vault
  • Use the Electrical Wire on Computer 1
  • Go Inside the door
  • Use the Knife on the Breathing Tube
  • The game ends in this last scene by examining the items in the scene…
